GEHA Meeting with TCEQ

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) is one of the world's largest environmental agencies which develops, implements and enforces environmental laws that regulate air, water and soil quality, pesticide use and waste recycling and reduction.  As part of the Mickey Leland Environmental Internship Program, THEY HIRE OVER 100 INTERNS annually, with placements in 16 regional field offices, as well as some in partnered consulting firms.

We will be joined by the Recruitment and Internship Coordinator, Juanita Baldwin and investigator  James "Bo" Slone, P.G. of the Edwards Aquifer Protection Program.  This will be a great opportunity to learn about the MLEIP and ask questions about becoming a professional geoscientist.  Bring your questions and your friends!
