Events :: Graduate Seminars :: Oil and Gas Projects and External Stakeholders by Dr. David B. Spence, Associate Professor of Law, Politics & Regulation, University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business

*This presentation is in Room 2.204 in the CPE Building, at 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008*

The focus of the talk will be on how external stakeholders can affect oil and gas projects, and will focus on the perspective of the O&G project manager. I will talk about the importance of relationships with stakeholders to the value and success of projects, and the steps project managers can take to minimize nontechnical (political and legal) risks, and to maximize project opportunities, by attending to relationships with external stakeholders.
