Dr. Matthew Balhoff joined the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 as Assistant Professor at the Department of Petroleum
& Geosystems Engineering. His past expererience includes work at the Center for Subsurface Modeling group as a
Postodoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin. His research involves pore scale and multiscale modeling, flow and transport in porous media, and reservoir engineering.
