Cornell University

Dr. David DiCarlo joined the University of Texas at Austin in 2007 as Assistant Professor at the Department of Petroleum & Geosystems Engineering. His past experience includes work on experimental measurements of flow and transport in porous media with Cornell University, Stanford University, and most recently with the Agricultural Research Service. He has written over 40 refereed publications.

His research interests include:

  • applying advanced experimental techniques to understanding fluid flow
    • Synchrotron radiation
    • CT scanning
    • Acoustical measurements
  • Pore-scale physics
  • Preferential and compositional displacements
  • gas injection processes.
