News :: Paul Bommer Named to NAE Committee

Dr. Paul Bommer was recently selected as a member of the National Academy of Engineering/National Research Council (NAE/NRC) Committee for the study on Analysis of Causes of the Deepwater Horizon Explosion, Fire, and Oil Spill to Identify Measures to Prevent Similar Accidents in the Future. The study committee will examine the probable causes of the incident, in a project conducted jointly by the National Academy of Engineering, the Transportation Research Board's Studies and Special Programs Division and the Division of Life and Earth Studies' Board on Environmental Studies and Toxicology. Congratulations Paul on being asked to work on this important project.
