The 2008 SPE International Student Paper Contest was held September 22nd in Denver Colorado. All competitors
had been awarded first place in one of eight regional competitions. Once again, PGE students did very well. Eric Looney placed third in the Undergraduate Division. PhD student Elena Rodriguez
placed second in the Doctoral Division and recent graduate Waleed Fazelipour placed first in the Masters Division. We are so proud.
The tower didn't actually glow orange for this victory, but we think it should have.
