Ruben Juanes has joined the PGE faculty this semester. Dr Juanes received a BS and MS in civil engineering from
the Universidad de La Coruña, Spain and his MS and PhD degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the
University of California Berkeley. He comes to us from Stanford University where he
was Acting Assistant Professor in Petroleum
Engineering. His research is geared toward the understanding, modeling, simulation and
quantitative prediction of complex geophysical systems, with special
application to petroleum reservoir engineering and groundwater hydrology. His
experience and background will broaden our faculty expertise. Welcome Ruben.
