Associate Professor Jon Olson has been selected as an AAPG Distinguished Lecturer for 2007 - 2008.
This prestigious appointment will send Olson around the country lecturing on geological topics. His lectures are, "Fractured Reservoir Characterization: From Diagenesis and Fracture Mechanics to Reservoir Permeability" and "A Geologist’s Guide
To Explaining Natural Fracture Phenomena with Fracture Mechanics." A list of Dr. Olson's upcoming lectures is on the AAPG site.
