Assistant Professor Matthew Balhoff was honored at the 2011 American Society for Engineering Education Gulf Coast
Annual Conference. Balhoff, who presented a paper at the meeting, "Breaking the Barrier: Engaging Students through Faculty Interaction",
was selected as the recipient of the ASEE Gulf Coast “Outstanding Young Faculty Award”. The award recognizes young faculty for excellence in research and teaching in the Gulf Coast Region.
