Chairman Larry Lake announced on December 15th that Dr. Steven Bryant of this
department has been promoted to Associate Professor. Bryant, who joined the department
in 2002 after six years with the Texas Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics, has been serving as Assistant Professor.
His research interests include petrophysics, reactive flow and transport, the
relationship between microstructure and macroscopic properties of granular media, and
applications of large-scale computing. Congratulations Steve!
