News :: Xu Recieves SPE Star Fellowship

Congratulations are in order for PGE graduate student Liying Xu. Xu has won the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Star Fellowship for 2010-2011. This fellowship, granted by the Mid-Continent North America Region of the Society of Petroleum Engineers consists of a $10,000 award. A total of fifteen Star awards are given out by participating regions of SPE; while criteria and the value of the award may vary, all honorees must be SPE members, studying Oil & Gas industry course work. We are so pleased to learn of this well deserved recognition.
