News :: Chenevert Honored as AADE Drilling Fluid Hall of Fame Inductee

Dr. Martin Chenevert, Senior Lecturer, has been chosen by the American Association of Drilling Engineers to be inducted into the Drilling Fluids Hall of Fame. Martin is part of the first group of eight inductees. The Drilling Fluids Hall of Fame was established to recognize key individuals who contributed to the advancement of our understanding and knowledge of drilling and completion fluids. Martin's award acknowledges him as a "Developer of chemical and mechanical concepts of wellbore stability and innovative fluids." Congratulations Martin!

Balanced activity oil-base-drilling fluids when coupled with advances in drill bit design have increased penetration rates by 50 - 75% and has allowed the economical drilling of hydrocarbons in the US and around the world. This not only benefits the oil and gas industry but all mankind. Thank you!
