Team Energy, a team of PGE graduate students and faculty runners, participated in the 3M Half Marathon on January 31st. The Half Marathon, a run of 13.1 miles, drew five members of Team Energy, grad students Yao Peng, Li Ji, Aaron Clark and Kelli Rankin and faculty member Maša Prodanović. Congratulations to all participants and to Prof. Carlos Torres-Verdín who participated in the Houston Marathon, all 26.2 miles, on the same weekend. Needless to say, this group is not taking the rest of the year off; Team Energy, including members who did not participate in the earlier event, is planning to run in the Austin Half Marathon on February 20th.
