Reading Room :: Information

The Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering Reading Room is a collection of basic books, journals, reports, theses, dissertations and other materials pertaining to petroleum engineering and energy and mineral resources. It is located in the CPE building in room 3.158

As a departmental reading room, it is not part of the University of Texas General Libraries. The Reading Room is open for 46 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, while classes are in session, and for 25 hours per week during the summer and intersession.

The resources of the Reading Room include: three information workstations with network access, a subscription to the SPE's eLibrary, a collection of pertinent CD-ROMs and most text books currently used in department classes. Check the "Athena" catalog in the Reading Room for titles; our holdings are not listed in the University catalog.
