UTHIST: A Graphical User Interface for Post Processing History Output Files of UTCHEM

Meeting the needs of a convenient graphics display of the history output files of a chemical compositional reservoir simulator, UTCHEM, at the Center for Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering of The University of Texas at Austin, a post processor UTHIST in the form of a Graphical User Interface is developed. The major tasks include: post processing the data, producing a spreadsheet file in Excel file format, plotting some of the important data, and providing the user with an easy to use interface to visualize the plots. A feature of UTHIST is the ability to read the information from any history output file without the help of any parameter files.
