The Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering Department at The University of Texas at Austin is proud to host the 2013 SPE Gulf Coast Regional Student Paper Contest. The contest will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the CPE Building on the UT-Austin campus.

Friday, April 5: SPE Gulf Coast Regional Student Paper Contest Kick-off Dinner
Hop aboard the M.V. Pride and Joy II for a pleasure cruise around beautiful Lady Bird Lake, located in the heart of downtown Austin. A tasty Tex-Mex dinner of fajitas will be served, and a cash bar will be available for those who wish to enjoy a cocktail. Due to limited parking at the boat dock, we have rented a shuttle to take guests to the event.
4:45: Guests arrive at CPE Building to catch shuttle
5 pm: Shuttle picks up participants at CPE Building
5:15 pm: Shuttle picks up guests at Doubletree Hotel
5:45: Boarding for Dinner Cruise, Hyatt Regency Boat Dock
6 pm- 8 pm: Dinner Cruise, Lady Bird Lake

Parking: Space is available in the Speedway Garage, located at the corner of Speedway and 27th street, across the street from the CPE Building. Please pull a ticket, and bring it to CPE Main Office (2.502) to be validated.
