Events

The First-year Fall Retreat (FFR) is a required event hosted for newly admitted UT PGE undergraduate students. All incoming fall 2016 students, including freshmen and transfer students, are invited to take part in this exciting event, which introduces students to the Longhorn spirit and pride. The event is a great opportunity to make connections with your classmates, UT PGE faculty and staff, industry representatives, and, of course, have fun before the start of fall classes!

The retreat will be held off-campus on August 21-22, 2016 (Sunday and Monday) at The Retreat at Balcones Springs, approximately 45 miles northwest of Austin. UT PGE will take care of round-trip transportation for all students between Austin and Marble Falls.

Schedule:

Sunday, August 21 arrive at 11:50am – Meet at CPE 2.502. The bus will depart at 12pm!

Monday, August 22 at 6pm – Arrive back to CPE

Tuesday, August 23 at 5pm – Gone to Engineering event
