Ph.D. Economic Geology, Mining and Metallurgy
The University of Wisconsin

Dr. vanRensburg has served on the faculty since 1981. He has five years of industrial experience and specializes in mineral economics with research interests in strategic minerals. Dr. vanRensburg has authored or edited ten books and has published more than 50 technical articles and reports.

  • Natural Gas from Canada
  • Evaluation of Variable Grade Mineral Deposits Using Discounted Cash Flow Analysis
  • American Foreign Policy in the Middle East and its Relationship to Oil
  • Optimization of Russian Oil and Mineral Production
